15 MW SMALL HYDRO ELECTRIC PROJECT(SHEP) ON RIVER KOLAB IN DIST. MALKANGIRI, ORISSA.

Govt. Orissa has allotted this project to Pallavi Power and Mines Ltd, which is a 100% subsidiary company to Shalivahana Projects ltd.,

Location : The project is located on River Kolab, near village Tentuligama dist. Koraput, Orissa. This site is about 70 KM from Jeypore.

* Head : 10.3 Mtrs.

* Total project cost : Rs. 81.45 Crores

* Power Generation : 53.59 MU

* P.L.F : 41.0%

• The DPR has been approved by the State Technical Committee (STC.
  
• Techno Economic Clearance (TEC) has been given the State Technical Committee.
• Power Purchase Agreement is expected to be signed with M/s. GRIDCO in about 15 to 20 days.
• Statutory clearances is in proces
• The project is expected to be commissioned by June, 2009.

Financial closure has been completed.
