6.6 MW SMALL HYDRO ELECTRIC PROJECT(SHEP) ON RIVER JATASHANKARI IN DIST. KORBA, CHATTISGARH.

Govt. of Chattisgarh has allotted this project to Shalivahana Projects ltd.,

Location : The project is located on River Jatashankari, near village Chevdhara in dist. Korba, Chattisgarh. This site is about 60 KM from Korba.

Salient Features :

* Type of project : Run of the River.

* River : Jatashankari

* Discharge of Water : 4.29 cumecs

* Head : 180 Mtrs.

* Total project cost : Rs. 36.27 Crores

* Power Generation : 31.87 MU

* P.L.F : 55.0%

• The project has been allotted by Govt. of Chattisgarh.
  
  
• MOU/Agreement has been will be signed with Govt. of Chattisgarh.
  
  
• Ganging station has been installed and daily discharge data is being collected.


• DSI & DPR will be taken up shortly.

The project is expected to be commissioned in Two and half to three years.
